Leoni's Tale
"Leoni's origins are shrouded in mystery and she rarely speaks of her past. On the rare time that she has, if the listener survived, they never spoke of that they had been told...ever. However, rumors have abounded that her mother was not, as Leoni has been heard to claim, an elf of the forest, but rather a dark elf who caught the eye of an Underworld demon lord. Those who hide in shadows and whisper of things to chill even the most doughty soul have even implied that Leoni is rumored to be the result of a chilling night's debauchery between her mother and the Demon Lord. It is also whispered that her demon father, Azagarath, asked Leoni to sacrifice her mother to him, and that Leoni complied willingly. In return she gained greater knowledge and power, which eventually allowed her to open the gates to the Underworld.
It is obvious from looking at her that she is half elven, but there is a depth of cold ruthlessness that shows her demon heritage. She delights in causing death, and collects souls to bind and torment on a daily basis. Tricky and manipulative, she twists circumstances to suit her own desires, as many have found to their dismay.
There are many more facets to the story of this enigmatic thief, but she keeps her secrets well, and whatever else there is to learn of her is locked deeply away behind the impenetrable wall she has built up around what "might" be called her heart.More dead than alive now, she haunts the lands, and revels in the hatred she garners from its citizens."
