Garden of Serenity
Rarely open to anyone, this garden consists of lovely 
paths leading
around a tiny goldfish pond and several greenery 
patches. A
general feeling of peace permeates the area.

Vorewyth says 'Now... '
Cecily leans towards Vorewyth to listen.
Vorewyth says 'I heard something which struck me a 
bit odd'
Cecily asks 'Yes?'
Vorewyth asks 'Were you and Domant wed?'
Cecily lets out a deep sigh.
Cecily says 'Yes, we were, I guess. It was proclaimed 
by two goddesses.'
Vorewyth asks 'But is it what you want?'
Cecily says 'In this case, what I wish doesn't matter.'
Vorewyth says 'Ah, but it does'
Cecily says 'This is to serve the whole...'
Vorewyth says 'It does very much'
Vorewyth asks 'What purpose would the marriage 
serve?'
Cecily says 'It seals a pact of Leoni and Senrania's. 
They joined against Loki and Valtera, to bring balance.'
Vorewyth says 'What you feel matters much'
Vorewyth asks 'So would you not have done it if not 
forced?'
Cecily says 'It matters, perhaps, to you. It matters to me.'
Cecily says 'It matters not to someone whose aim is much 
higher than the happiness of one person.'
Cecily says 'They seek the safety of the lands.'
Vorewyth asks 'How did Valtera and Loki seal their pact?'
Cecily says 'I have no idea.'
Vorewyth says 'I can almost assure you it wasn't a marriage'
Vorewyth asks 'Do you think you could set up a meeting 
with Senrania for me?'
Vorewyth blinks.
Cecily says 'It may not have been a "wedding". It was 
certainly the unbreakable joining of two lives.'
Cecily blinks.
Cecily asks 'Pardon?'
Vorewyth says 'I don't know if she would be willing 
to see me'
Cecily asks 'What purpose do you hope to serve?'
Cecily says 'Her mind is made up, the pact is sealed.'
Vorewyth says 'To put things as they should be'
Cecily lets out a deep sigh.
Cecily asks 'How should they be, my friend?'
Raistlyn enters from the west
Raistlyn sits down.
Raistlyn gives out a fed up "HUFF!"
"Monks!" mutters Raistlyn.
Cecily says 'My dear Raistlyn. If you wish not to see 
Monks, do not enter the home of one.'
Cecily smirks at Raistlyn.
Raistlyn says 'No no, I was just complaining because they 
seem to be the root of all my troubles.'
Vorewyth says 'That's blaming them for an awful lot there'
Vorewyth blinks.
"Aye laddie," utters Raistlyn.
Cecily pats Raistlyn on the back.
Raistlyn blames the for everything.
Raistlyn blames THEM too.
Cecily says 'Yes, I have noticed that.'
You see Raistlyn peer around.
Cecily leans over to Raistlyn to listen.
Raistlyn asks 'I don't suppose you've seen a guild assistant 
named bruno come running by here eh?'
Raistlyn stands up
Raistlyn is now resting peacefully...
Raistlyn sits down.
Cecily says 'Bruno? Last I saw, he was badly stumbling.'
Raistlyn gives out a polite "Yes".
Raistlyn says 'That's him'
"Drunkards!" mutters Raistlyn.
Cecily says 'Forgive me, Raistlyn, if I find no sympathy 
for you.'
You see Raistlyn mutter towards you as at the same time 
he pats a bit of singed hair.
You see Cecily Root around in a pouch and come up with 
a pair of scissors.
Cecily says 'Snip snip.'
Raistlyn shouts "ACK!" and looks guilty.
Raistlyn says 'I think not madam.'
Cecily says 'I'll take care of the singed hair for you.'
Raistlyn starts to give Cecily the eye.
Cecily starts to give Raistlyn the eye.
Raistlyn says 'I'll give YOU some singed hair if you 
come near me.'
Cecily gives a quick "Bah!"
Cecily says 'You are in MY home. Go away if you don't 
want my help.'
Cecily starts to mutter to herself.
"Women!" mutters Raistlyn.
"Monks!" mutters Raistlyn.
Raistlyn stands up
Raistlyn moves to the west
Cecily gives a soft and quiet; Sheesh!
Cecily says 'I can only ask if they will meet with you, but 
I can assure you that it will do no good.'
Vorewyth says 'Oh? '
Vorewyth asks 'Why would you think that?'
Cecily says 'I have meditated on it, and just to know that 
Loki and Valtera are thwarted in their efforts is enough.'
Vorewyth says 'Like I said...the marriage is unnecessary'
Cecily asks 'And why is that?'
Vorewyth says 'Any alliance that is so unsure of itself that 
it needs such a pact is bound to fail anyway'
Cecily says 'I do not believe that they are at all unsure of 
their alliance.'
Vorewyth asks 'Then why do they need proof?'
Cecily shrugs her shoulders at you.
Cecily says 'I am not them and was not privvy to their 
reasoning.'
Vorewyth says 'Proof that affects neither of them'
Cecily says 'It may be but an excuse on both their parts.'
Vorewyth says 'If they don't care about your feelings, they 
don't care what happens to you'
Cecily says 'I do not know, and it does not matter. Vorewyth, 
it is done and unchangeable.'
Cecily raises an eyebrow in your direction.
Vorewyth says 'Anything that can be done can be undone'
Cecily says 'Senrania cares very much about my feelings.'
Cecily says 'She also cares for the welfare of the people.'
Vorewyth says 'Then she would want to listen to me'
Cecily says 'And the one must bow before the welfare of the
 many, Vorewyth. It must be.'
Vorewyth says 'Loki was around recently'
Vorewyth says 'Answering questions for some odd reason'
Cecily asks 'Odd?'
Cecily laughs happily.
Vorewyth says 'I tend to use the word odd a lot when dealing 
with him'
